Makan was born after a Filipino boy met an Indonesian girl and they shared their love for food. As their bellies expanded so did their desire to share their hometown delicacies. After a couple trips to Asia and many consultations from the best cooks they know, their mom's, they developed the menu for Makan.

Makan's empanadas embody the rich culinary history of both ASEAN countries. The sweet Filipino crust mixed with an assortment of Filipino and Indonesian fillings will have you saying "Empana-DAMN"!
